A lot of what gets left behind still has life in it. We set aside clean furniture, working appliances, housewares, and clothing for donation whenever we can. Torn mattresses, broken items, and things charities can’t accept get recycled or disposed of properly.

Book junk removal before your final cleaning, so cleaners have empty rooms to work in.
Check your lease or listing agreement for what has to be gone, including the garage and yard.
Take photos once everything is cleared, for your records.
