Cleanout services FAQs
What's included in a cleanout?
We carry out the items you want gone, load them and haul them away. Usable items are set aside for donation and we recycle what we can. Tell us in your photo or message what stays and what goes.
Do I need to be there?
Not always. For items in a garage, driveway or open area, you may not need to be present. For a home or unit, we need access, so tell us what works when you text, such as a lockbox or a property manager.
What can't you take?
We can’t take hazardous waste such as paint, chemicals, motor oil, fuels, batteries and pesticides. Those go to your county’s household hazardous waste program. If you’re not sure about an item, text us a photo.
Do you donate usable items?
Yes, where we can. Furniture, housewares, clothing and other usable items are set aside for donation, and we recycle what we can. What can be donated depends on its condition.
Can you work with a property manager, executor or family member who's out of town?
Yes. Many cleanouts are arranged by someone who isn’t on site. Text photos and tell us who will give us access, and we’ll coordinate with them directly.
