The county bulky program, honestly explained
Aptos sits in the unincorporated county, where GreenWaste Recovery offers a Bulky Item Reuse Collection. Customers can book up to three collections a year at no additional charge. Each is capped at about two cubic yards of reusable material, five e-waste items, or three appliances or bulky items, and refrigerators with refrigerant count as two. No single item may weigh more than 200 pounds, and you schedule it through GreenWaste. Confirm your address when you book.
It is a good deal when your pile fits those limits and the items are set out for pickup. When the piece is over the weight limit, buried in a back room, upstairs, or you have more than three things, call us instead.
