Residents book directly with Mission Trail. The program is for single-family homes, has set limits on volume and item count, and is offered at set intervals, so planning matters. Extra charges apply beyond the allowance and for Freon appliances, as the guide describes it.
Condo and apartment residents, landlords with several pieces to clear, and anyone with a larger load will often find it easier to hire a crew. We take bulky items from inside the home or yard, sort them for donation or recycling, and haul the rest. For self-haulers, the county lists Newby Island Resource Recovery Park in Milpitas as a public option.
